Been there for a while

I’ve never seen anything with Kinnaman in it, so whenever I see footage from this movie I spend a second wondering whether Kevin Sorbo got his jaw widened.  The yellow shirt there doesn’t help.

It would make sense.  Big games are getting really expensive, and that cost is distorting the market in various ways.  Most publishers have alternative monetization schemes.  A lot are abandoning the traditional mainline style of game entirely.  Sony can reliably make blockbusters, and so that’s their thing now. …

I was curious so I checked her IMDB entry, and in the photos she is almost mesmerizingly expressionless.

I gave up the first time they killed a character because of fan dislike (it was Maggie Grace, I don’t remember the character’s name. That’s when I was like, they don’t know what they’re doing.

I do wonder how many seasons it was originally supposed to take to get there, given that I think it covered about fifteen years in the second season.

I saw this before Jaws and so it was basically my introduction to Robert Shaw. He’s riveting in this; he comes from a completely different movie, and the level of tension he maintains gives this movie its spine. Yeah but he also made Inside Man, which I think works great as a companion piece to this movie.
