Cross your fingers that Medicare for All will pay for forced sterilization of dipshits like Chris Jacobs.

Drown in a toilet Jim

From the still, it looks like Amuro is about to give the other guy a smooch on the hand. Like a creep.

Fuck that. You don’t negotiate with terrorists. They should announce that every Pokemon not in the base game was wiped out by a rare disease and you can’t use any of them ever again.

Are there simulated city hall meetings where simulated nimbys bitch and whine for hours and hours about the tiny homes?

No, do both.  They are both valid forms of pressure.  Sorry dude, the pissbabies opened up this front in the culture wars, they don’t get to just hide behind a smokescreen of civility whenever people get mad at them.

“Because, you see, we have never actually met any women and so the research required would not be feasible at this time.”

I had to install adblocking software in order to make these sites load. So good job, corporate douchebags!

Hopefully one day you’ll get it.

Glaring and awkward -- the J.J. Abrams touch!

Honestly, the creative and cultural tug-of-war over this trilogy is already the most memorable thing about it.

You’re right with one exception:  Disney will get everything they want.  Star Wars is a marketing platform, and now that Disney owns it we’ll never be free of it again.

I agree with basically everything here, but just wanted to add that the battle system is the best in the series and a big reason why the only two mainline Final Fantasies I anticipate replaying are this and FFV. But even here you have to temper your praise, because there’s just so much stuff before they take the

The worst part is that it’s completely pointless. The made-up terms don’t convey anything that you couldn’t get with words that were already just laying around, and create an additional problem by just sounding stupid. Make fal’cie gods, make l’cie chosen ones or something, and you’ve got a comprehensible story that

Yeah, the first time I played it I made a point of not reading any lore and just going by what you learn in-game. The basic story was pretty clear, but I had no idea what the world actually was until something like 30 hours in. And honestly, I think that if they’d given a bit of explanation for the world at the outset

Maybe it's a lifetime achievement deal like Scorsese got for The Departed.  Like, they can't go back and give Dark Souls the award for 2011, and there isn't really anything super compelling this year so why not?

Lackluster isn’t the word I’d use.  I think at this point every year has more good to great games than there is time to really play them.  But there wasn't a surefire game of the year like Zelda or Witcher, and if you told me they picked Sekiro out of a hat I might believe you.

Scarlet Grace was robbed

Yeah, we need Levine back for that Bioshock Infinite touch!

I think a big part of why Bioshock felt groundbreaking is because it’s not really a pure FPS so much as an immersive-sim lite. It has more in common with Deus Ex (or System Shock obviously) than with Call of Duty, but I would imagine that most of the audience didn’t have that frame of reference, so Bioshock seemed
