I don’t like the way it looks and I can’t believe they didn’t show one of it’s killer features - the frunk.  That being said, with whatever they call the bed extending into the cab makes this a good potential electric overnighter for tall people like me.

I’m 6'4 and I love my MK7 GTI with the 6MT. Works great for myself and two kids that are both around 6' and our big dog.

Not sure about the price since everything is so crazy right now, mine was 25 new I wonder if a used for 15 might have something wrong with it.

They are also extremely tall

I’m an old person so what I miss is Taco Bell in the late 70s or early 80s. Specifically the Taco Light and the Bell Beefer.

The Taco Light was made with a fried flour tortilla (think taco salad bowl), and the Bell Beefer was basically a sloppy joe but with taco meat.

The best thing about this build is that they apparently can’t carry or dispense potable water and didn’t have enough room to store a case of bottled water so they just stuck it on the floor by the bed.

I just listened to a podcast with one of the “yacht club” people and now know a lot more about it.  My opinion in general, that I wouldn’t spend actual money on it, hasn’t changed but at least I understand why some people are doing it.

Cutting on a bias when doing it this way looks really nice too.  I tried to always include skin as it’s the best part.

Any chance you want to write an article telling me it’s fine to do almost no Z2 running (so all tempo, race pace and intervals) since I do a lot of Z2 work on the bike?!

I’m pretty sure it’s not but it would make things easier for my limited time and daylight these days.

Let’s talk about what is really important -

Bring back the TSX Sportwagon!

With the ability to get a sunroof and manual and I guess brown (but they look great in white).

“I didn’t like these kids movies when I first watched them as an adult”

I’d like to see both in person. Love the giant frunk on the Lightning but the videos of the Rivian with the camping stuff was extremely appealing.

I’ll probably just stick with something small and sporty but they are both really nice.

I think it looks pretty nice and if it’s nice inside it might be a good replacement for my 6 year old GTI.

Love that they are making a small sporty car with a manual and the price is about what you would expect.

I’d never buy it but I like the way it looks and when I saw the post about it a few weeks ago it never occurred to me that it might be open to the cab which I think is amazing.

A small group shouting over everyone so a deadly disease can propagate isn’t debate, it is exhausting and that is the entire point.  Do not give them a platform.

Instead of having all of us put up with exhausting repetitive comments from the same antivaxxers please ban them so their new free account will be back in the grays.

I think it was coopted by them, but at this point it doesn’t really matter.

I really like the Acura wagon but if the Transit Connect is big enough for me to comfortably sleep in (at 6'4) I might take it as a 2nd car.

I’ve wondered if swappable batteries would help with range anxiety and recharging so that instead of having to charge your batter for 30 minutes you could just pull up and swap out a battery to get more range without having to wait.

Ah, the deeply held conservative belief that anyone, regardless of race, creed or whatever, should be able to do anything I, a middle aged white man, think is okay. But absolutely nothing else.

Under normal circumstances I understand the argument, but used car prices are really crazy now so the difference isn’t what it used to be.
