Oh thanks, I always countries like Canada, Australia and New Zealand are almost impossible to get into besides from being a tourist.

That is the same for German speakers. Nazi refers to the 'original Nazis while neo Nazi refers to the current followers of the ideology. People will most likely just used 'Nazi' but it is understood to be an abbreviation. I would suppose there is a difference that Germans don't see the original 'Nazis' as that

I know it's counter productive and depression does that but people truly do not care about each other otherwise the world wouldn't be the way it is.

Hi, I know this will just seem stupid but I suffer from pretty severe depression as well and have made some truly bad decisions and don't really have a positive development of my circumstances ahead of me but what helps me a tiny bit is trying to get up early and experience nature and getting my Vitamin D levels up.

I understand the point you are making but that is not where the discussion about colonialism came from. I classified Sudan as a failed state on which the discussion arose that its legacy of colonialism plays a part in that.

what career do you work in?

How do you do that if you are not Canadian? I thought you have to prove to the Canadian government that you have a job and that you are not taking any job away from a Canadian to get a visa and work permit?

I usually go exploring the neighborhood/City by foot or bike.

Well, it exposes perfectly well what a fucked up pretend play society is anyway. There we are, little hamsters in a wheel running as fast as we can trying to ensure that our worries of not being sheltered, clothed and fed are taken care of by getting ahead in the game. So we are trying as best as our surroundings -

Wow, that's very different! It completely takes my focus off the lyrics and makes me concentrate on the upbeat music while Baez' version mostly makes me want to cry and contemplate loneliness when I listen to it. What a difference an instrumentation can make.

Now playing

Sometimes, I too, find her early songs a bit shrill, but likewise her version of House of the Rising Sun is the most painfully beautiful version of that song I ever heard and so much better than the version of the Byrds. But of course less successful and less appreciated because why would society listen to the story

I like their version, yes, but my all time favorite version of the song is the Joan Baez one. She brings such a tragic vulnerability to it.

Thank you for that information. I attributed that to Sudan/Somalia based off what I remember from how countries are classified in a political science context. While I agree with you about the background of that term it serves as an instrument to assess a country's conditions concerning its governance, civil society

Thank you for all that info!

I know very little about Sudan - except that South Sudan is a region in extreme crisis right now - can anyone give me a short rundown on the current situation of Sudan? Is it a failed state or am I thinking of Somalia?

It's so self-congratulatory.

I remember watching the Behind the Scenes of Lost in Translation. Whenever Johansson met anyone for the first time that day she was showered in compliments. Imagine just going to work or hanging around people while everybody non-stop comments on how 'amazing' you are and how 'stunningly beautiful' you look this

Nope, you just about completely misunderstand what I'm saying.

Funny, since his career never took off. He us a working actor and successful at that, good for him. But his 'fame' went down with the show.

I forgot. Paranoia is real.
