The old way is the same as the new way, it's just that the pace of technological change has accelerated.

I think it’s more of a perception issue. Lexus makes a great car, but from the driver’s seat I can’t help but see all the shared Toyota parts. Mercedes and BMW have a big perception advantage, because they don’t share interior component parts with a budget level brand(buttons, switches, etc).

It’s going to be a slow transition.  There's a lot of work to do. The underlying power grid couldn't support everyone charging at this point anyways.

Did you really like how the last generation looked, or just a big fan of hot takes?

As long as the government is guaranteeing the availability of the money, what incentive do schools have to charge less? Maybe you should be angry at the school administrators. They make more money “administrating" than the teachers do teaching. They're orchestrating the scam that ripped you off. They're the reason you

I thought so too, until one of the guys at work convinced me to try one. Don't care for pancakes, chicken for breakfast sounds weird to me, but this combination works.

So if they would just switch to 🌈 flags and black lives matters shirts, Harley would be a huge success again?

Imagine what they could produce . . .

I sell cars, and we’re actually busy since we re-opened, and will run out of inventory in a few months because production has stopped. Used cars are another matter, but if you want to buy a new car, now is the time if you’re able.

Because sales are bad, they’re going to lower your payments for now, and then put off the purchase of your next car another six months to boot. What are you smoking?

That’s not the situation here. Those scams are run through small buy here pay here lots, who self finance, and repossess in house. Santander works with traditional dealers, to pick up people other banks won’t finance. People who live for today, don't pay their bills, yet still think they should drive a new car, and

When you refer to a Porsche, you think 911. They’re not afraid to profit off of people who have more money, than they have sense. As a Porsche fan that used to bother me, but I’ve grown to appreciate the fantastic products they are able to build now. By making a tremendous profit from idiots, they can free those

You said yourself you weren’t willing to commit to anything other than coming back in next Friday to play the game over again. Maybe they’ll sell the vehicle in the meanwhile, or have different incentives. Why should they commit to a price for your used car at some future date to be determined? Seems like neither side

Once they’re statistically safer than human driven cars, you’ll pay a lot more for insurance. Driving one self will become a hobby, like riding a horse. What was once transportation, will become a past time for the well to do. Unless your wealthy, you may be priced out of self driving in the long run.

Nobody wanted a personal computer before it came out, or the internet, or an iPhone. Innovation doesn’t depend on people wanting things that don’t yet exist.

Because the problem doesn’t really exist, Tom just ran out of ideas and needed to hit his article quota.

It does make him credible though. Having experience in your field is much more important than being smart

You have a sports car project, he has an 11 year old Fit. It’s like a foodie waxing poetic about Taco Bell, or a fine furniture fan gushing about Ikea. It's obvious he doesn't care about cars. He probably wrote this article to meet a management mandated quota.

If you’re dealing with an experienced sales person, they’ve likely already seen that mind game 100 times, and recognized it right off the bat. Like any game you play, the person who plays it every day will always have the advantage. Just do some research, and leave the games at home.

You did watch it though, right? Mission accomplished. Don't forget to like and subscribe...
