thanks for stopping in

I keep hearing how awesome he is, but I haven’t gotten better than a pity chuckle out of anything he’s said.

Oh, I think he is so, so funny. I really enjoy his specials and would go see him live. I especially like his Mick Jagger impersonation. It is true he is very clever

You’re right, of course. He’s definitely not hep with today’s jive. What a square! Random insertions of “like” and “I mean” would go a long way with helping today’s edgy, sophisticated youth to better understand his material. Perhaps more Tinder jokes, or recollections of times when “he was all like _____,” and “they

Ok! No one cares.

That reminds me of a story. A friend of mine was with some of his buddies at an amusement park circa 2002. When they left the park, they found an unmarked video cassette on the hood of his car. They took it home and later, while hanging out, they popped it into the VCR. It proceeded to play the minute-long horror

That special was great because it was 3 of the best standups to ever doing and Ricky Gervais kind of just sitting there making a fucking fool of himself. He has absolutely no business discussing stand up comedy, he’s awful at it.

Deadpool is a mentally unbalanced goof, not a Pitchfork reviewer. Though, now that I think of it, there is some overlap...

And a Dirty Harry movie from the late 80s - The Dead Pool

well Chris left out a key clue from the original article.

“I asked a question, and someone answered! Punish them! I conceded and they let me! Punish them!”

Well, nothing personal against him, just not sure this is worth writing an article about.

I feel like Patton Oswalt has compromising pictures of everyone at the AVClub. If he takes a shit, you guys talk about how brilliant it is.

I’m convinced he threw that in just to generate more comments.

Hmmm....is that a generational thing? Like do younger Millenials and even younger kids just know Sabotoge?

I can see some people who were a little older in the 80s maybe just knowing Fight For Your Right To Party and Licensed to Ill and then tuning out the Beasties during the following decade, but for people of my age

You think so? I always thought of Check Your Head and Ill Communication as being one continuous thing... they even prefaced the “Sabotage” success with “So Watcha Want,” which was the big smash from Check Your Head, though it wasn’t QUITE as outrageously popular.

This is just like when I recall how many pieces of bread everyone at the table has already had when I’m taking the last one for myself.
