Gmail is exactly what prompted my response. Except, oddly, I have only used it once. Email is the one thing I proofread intently prior to sending. I think it has to do with length. Something I type out in just a few words I am more likely to do all at once and relatively quickly so more likely to think I got it right

Oh, we all know this is the right answer, but we also all know how often we hit send on every text and tweet we send out before proofreading.

So why not “draft mode” that shows you your tweet for 10-15 seconds and has an edit button. Once the 10-15 seconds is up it is locked in and goes live. If you chose to edit, you only get the one shot at fixing it.

The provenance of “The Rooty Tooty Fresh ‘N Fruity” is of course, according to my 3 year old son, “My Patootie”.

And in this alternate reality Crystal Pepsi wins!

Exactly! Nearly as damning as Mr. Mom in it’s implications about a woman’s place in a marriage (and society), but Keaton goes all in and at least makes it funny and enjoyable.

Night Shift is pushing it...but Multiplicity and Speechless do!

But only because Michael Keaton is a goddamn national treasure.

That’s the logo on the back of my denim jacket!

Ha! Yeah, I am not saying that I don’t follow the masses subconsciously as well. Just not when it comes to movies, music or tv (or cars!).

I suppose it is possible they weren’t cougars, but looked like that stereotype, so bad on me. But they really did order wine.

It certainly won’t make you like it any more, but I found this fact to be very helpful in understanding this film:

You might be surprised to know that, generally, people like what their friends like.

You did better than me. I thought I had it right with Friday at Noon (the earliest show I could find at a expensive and small theater). Including me there were two couples who remained silent the entire time. The last ones to stroll in while the teasers were finishing up? A pack of 3 cougars who ordered wine

Average people are sheep. They are easily manipulated. Laugh tracks and jump scares exist for this reason. They are also subconsciously skeptical. When told that they will like something, their instant bias is to believe they probably won’t (they have free will, right?). The irony is that once they step into a group

Sadly, you are right.

Initially, while watching the film (and knowing the darkness of the adult character in the book), I thought Chastain would be the only one who could fill the Bev Marsh role. Then afterwards I saw a picture of Amy Adams and realized that she would actually be the better casting because, she has the chops like Chastain,

“My only criticism is that the ending explains itself too much. Feels like studio intervention.”

This is the first horror film in many years that I decided to see in the theaters to avoid having it spoiled for me. I typically refuse to see horror with average movie goers because there is always a pack of idiots that ruins it by laughing or providing some other inappropriate audible response. For a true un-biased

When I first watched the original series back in 2007(I think) I was riveted by it. Then I took to the internet to read more about it and was appalled by some of the filmmaking decisions that, in my opinion, made Petersen more of a sympathetic figure than he might be to those who lived it. So I am not at all surprised
