This car will have aftermarket on day one, because the 1.4 mill is the same from the 500 Abarth. There are bolt-ons already available, and I imagine ecu tunes will be a short way off, as well. Will it have the same aftermarket as a ND? Probably not, it’s a bit more niche than a Miata. But there is already aftermarket

All car vs. truck argument aside, 6" of water, which is easily cleared by any car, can also sweep away the heaviest truck. There’s no reason to drive through standing water, really.

Well, there’s always the regular Miata for those who are still living in the 1980s where Italian cars immediately implode.

How did anything I said at all conflict with your sentiment? I have been advocating for the fact that the 300ZX driver was actively antagonizing the Ram driver. Since you’re late to the party, I think you missed the numerous posts where the burden of the Ram driver’s actions were placed onto thh ZX driver. Both were

It’s not that simple. It can easily average high 30's if you’re gentle with it and even low 40's if you hypermile. When you flog it, it vacuums up fuel like many small turbo cars do, and can return shockingly low mileage ( like 18mpg). It’s one of those cars that encourages you to put your foot in it and the economy

True. It seems more prudent to hold onto that$1k and commute in car unless you actually need a truck. But people are people, and plenty will spend $1k for COMMAND SEATING.

It’s all relative to how you drive. I have a short commute in my Abarth and still average about 31mpg on the average tank of fuel. I have seen averages into the 40mpg range wheen driving the same car economically. That said, neither numberis that impressive for such a small car, but I didn’t buy for economy anyway.

I’m not seeing a problem with the aluminum bed, really. It seems like a lazy human problem. Maybe this is a concern for contractors or whatever who have fleet vehicles and lazy, apathetic employees who will throw things at them instead of loading them properly. As an individual person, I can’t really imagine throwing

Even if you are hauling heavy things, I think what Chevy has taught us in not to treat your truck like shit. Maybe don’t pour bricks into it from a few yards above the bed?

They’d look good on an Imprezza. Heck, I think they’d look good on just about anything as long as some RallyArmor flaps and Hella/PIAA driving lamps were added to complete the look. :3

Exactly. Little tiny dirt tires like that are a thing that is needed to Rally Car All The Things (my DD especially). Screw pavement, I’m offroading to work.

I think the neighbors probably hate mine, but random people in the world seem to get a kick out of the sound sometimes. :)

Fair enough, neither of my cars are old enough to really have developed any kind of issues. That said, my perception and opinion having two of the things is that Fiat cheaped out on the interiors specifically with these cars, and has also tried to save money on the bodywork/paint. Some of the materials are down right

Why have them even spend time designing something ugly? I mean, I understand why - the Google Mobile is very recognizable. That hideousness makes you immediately understand what you’re looking at. But on the other hand, they could have just bought a few Fiat 500s if they wanted something small and different looking

And yet, the Ssangyong Rodius is a thing, that exists.

These have always reminded me of a refrigerator. Kinda want to drive one somewhere where I can have it valet’d, for funsies.

The 1.4 Multiair turbo really is not a bad mill, and the few failures you’ll hear about on the Fiat owner’s forums primarily seem to be related to substantially modified cars. I put my money where my mouth is on this one, and bought two Fiats new (both manuals for Save the Manuals). I haven’t really had any kind of

Weird just doesn’t seem to sell well. FCA brought us weird little Italian cars, and the public has looked at them and bought similarly-sized Korean and Japanese boxes of blandness instead.

Why do people buy a car for a few days per year, though? It’s madness, and lunacy. It warrants a healthy eye-roll when someone buys a Subaru product “because AWD for the snow,” but most especially when they live in freaking Oklahoma where it snows like two days per year (not to mention, just buy a set of wheels and

Girl here: not that I think much about the dicks of other drivers, but I tend to think the vehicle is compensation for something. Big, clean trucks that clearly aren’t used for work make me assume tiny, insecure person driving. I see lots of little guys and girls driving those things, and I’m pretty sure it’s due to
