That's not how contract law works. For example, I can't commission a painting from someone who only paints Monet style paintings, and then the painter, after taking my money gives me a blank canvas with a single paint dot in the upper right corner and say they fulfilled their contract.

Yeah, WB made the mistake of initially announcing the move unilaterally, but after they became the internet’s villain of the day, they seem to have gone out of their way to actually make things right.  Disney apparently did none of that.

Keep in mind, this is Disney following WB's lead, and WB has seemingly done the right thing and renegotiated everyone's contracts, whereas Disney has decided to just screw over everyone.

Yeah, the torch is getting passed down where a new generation is dealing with the problems of the previous.  Generational events happen a lot with sci-fi and it will be fun to see how it’s handled with Ghostbusters.

What's the problem here? They didn't have stock available for everyone, so they chose a method that rewarded their customers and probably also cut down on scalping. They probably got more consoles in the hands of gamers who actually wanted them than went to people who just want to flip them. 

The ear-licking thing is literally a staple of Japanese virtual reality porn. (Which they record the audio for with binaural mics Just. Like. That. One.) So yeah, anybody claiming this isn’t sexual is being disingenuous at best.
