True, I was thinking of the start/stop hybrids like the new ram. Run the supercharger off of the battery instead of the drive train, powering it mostly through regenerative braking.

Would a supercharger be better with some of these ‘mild hybrid’ set ups we are seeing now? Could the battery help offset efficiency losses for the supercharger?

The heating up thing sound stupid to me.... your eyes do not see as well with blue light as they do with something in a warmer cooler temperature as in more white/yellow. The tint by nature also blocks some of the light making your headlights actually dimmer
