Why couldn’t dealerships just get a % cut of the sales price of cars that are purchased/delivered through the dealership? Don’t dealerships make most of their money on service?
Can we have a direct sales model without destroying dealerships? I think we can. Sales positions will be lost, but some can stay on and become delivery specialists, educating buyers about how the cars work. Dealerships can function as delivery hubs, and still maintain their strong revenue source from servicing cars.…

It’s probably pulling in outside air at that point instead of running the compressor. The automatic climate control in my car senses outside temp, inside temp, and also if there is sun shining in the passenger area to determine how to manage the temperature. Pretty cool.
