The game suffers from Lore Overload: yes, I love a game with a well-thought-out and complex backstory, but the dialogue has an over-reliance on fantasy nonsense words. I noticed that shot as well, but I took it as more like "This is a guy who is still on the show" rather than a subtle hint that Mance ain't Mance. Especially since the wildlings played no part in this episode.
I think Wesley Morris is a pretty good film reviewer.
Wasn't there a fan theory that Jaqen was actually in Oldtown during the events of AFFC? Him popping up in Braavos would pretty much quell that theory (though I suppose the guy we saw in the episode isn't necessarily the same Jaqen that Arya met before).
