With so many women proud of their habitual drunkness in public places this book essentially teaches men how to shoot fish in a barrel.

One (okay me) wonders how far people will go to appear 'cool' with whatever they see, so much so that they would actually overlook over child sexualization, images geared towards the entertainment of said-types, exploiting child nudity to be provocative, etc.
@joyjoyjoy: true true — odds are that at least of a few of the women commenting bitterly about what he has written, are themselves the perfect examples of the kind of woman he is talking about.
@lawchic: by the way, YEAH, for what you wrote
Michelle Obama is a wife, is a mother, is supportive of her husband, children — her family, and none of that has to contradict with her being intelligent, strong, independent-minded, etc.
@ALittleBitGothic: oddly enough, i know plenty of people who have learned about the 'plight of refugees' without the help of angelina jolie's media moments.
@onthecornerofparkerandwoolf: why wouldn't it be shiloh who'd have a complex about her looks?
So of Angelina really does have a nanny for each child and makes sure the nannies aren't photographed so that we think she is this great earth-mother just trying to manage her brood like every other mother, then why would it be surprising she is going to have some stress maintaining that facade?
She is an intelligent, strong-spirited black woman —- some folks may not know those kind, but I say those who plan on attacking her will find her an easy target because that kind of woman inspires so much hate and disrespect in this country, but they won't find her to be an easy beaten-down target.
Please, please, someone explain to me this fixation some women have with wearing boots in hot weather? Short boots, high boots, leather boots, suede boots, cowboy boots — since you aren't wrangling cows or riding horses, no need for the extra foot protection.
So the United Nations gender and disaster management seminars finally come in handy....women are often the ones left to care for children, the elderly, in addition to being the last to be aware of major weather information (tv, radio, etc.). This also relates to where hurricanes tend to happen, and where tsunamis…
@Kilotwat:
@ceejeemcbeegee (AKA!): Perhaps because I as an African-American has studied the history and lacks your apparent need to (perhaps a social need) 'understand' the repugnant.
@ceejeemcbeegee (AKA!): What rights did the Africans held as slaves had? People don't tend to believe that men have the right to assert their 'rights' to control women, so why is it any valid 'right' for the South to hold other humans as slaves?
I use that delay time to get in some sleep...
For those of us who live in the East — can we revisit this say late May, June, when we can actually show things growing outside, rather than dirt where stuff will come up when it is not so cold?
All the meth, cocaine (etc.), vicodin abusing - drug-using, cigarette-smoking, binge drinking, anorexic/anorexia-emulating... — you get the point — 'thin' women, please shut up rather than lecture others about the 'danger' of being too fat.
It is amazing these days how so many people think if you do a film, a website or wear a t-shirt you really must be doing something about an issue — as long as it raises awareness.
@westvillagegirl: and because men have no feelings, and because their sperm doesn't help create a child, they don't end up paying at all for mistakes in that type of decision?
@nettoyeur: wonderful point! But we are in general a nation of people who shaped by corporate interest — we are consumers and judge each other by what one can afford to buy. The less you can buy, the less 'worthy' you are. That's why we willingly get gouged by corporations and respond by working ourselves into the…
