Exactly. See above for a bit of a longer explanation.

We syndicate his column, but aside from that there's no "relationship" per se. We actually used to review his podcast for podmass (here's an example: http://www.avclub.com/artic…, and we also reviewed The Kid in 2002 (http://www.avclub.com/artic… so it's not like I'm breaking new editorial ground here.

Me too (obviously). My bisexual friend in high school read him religiously, and I've been reading him ever since. I guess I'm not surprised by the hate/love going on here, though it's good to see it's mostly a well thought out & argued discussion.

He wasn't, and it will be.

Which includes me. But I don't live in Canada anymore. Actually, my only trip to Stratford (which New Burbage is based off of) was to see Sarah Polley in Alice in Wonderland.

Thank our new Film Editor, A.A. Dowd, for that.

Grint struck me as the most talented (or at least the most natural) in the first few films, while Watson struck me as the least. Can't agree with you about her work in HP, I never felt like she did much more than read lines for seven films. I can still remember leaving that first movie thinking, "Wow, they just

I agree 100%. I actually think Say You Will would have been an amazing solo album for Buckingham (as it was originally planned).

We got pretty critical in our Sandman write-ups!

The Diana Wynne Jones story is great. The collection's opener, which has a image for a name, is quite good as well. Almost everything in the anthology is solid, but there were too many to go through one-by-one.

It's definitely worth picking up, especially if you're a fan of the genre. I had to read it all in one gulp, but I suspect if you read it over a longer length of time the pacing issues I had won't occur.

Stupid sorting hat put me in Ravenclaw.

@avclub-5bc6960dad8ab0694bb4d6ff884b0c1e:disqus Honestly? Sheer laziness. I haven't bothered to ask them to change my profile.

I sent her this article, and your response is her favorite, so if/when she dumps me, I'll hook you two up.

I tried, they won't let me in my home state!

@avclub-58238e9ae2dd305d79c2ebc8c1883422:disqus Nothing. Most likely I'll curl into fetal position and openly weep.

And yes @E.Buzz Miller, I am exaggerating. We've never actually ever had a fight (or even a discussion) about splitting up our time where she watches Downton Abbey in the bedroom.

Indeed, I'm super confused why I'm not single and living in a box (for many, many reasons). But I'm mostly being self-mocking here. My GF and I have pretty different tastes in movies and TV shows, so it's common practice that one of us uses our computers while the other watches on the TV. It's not like I pointed my

We thought about it, but since it's technically not him, we kept it out (same with Germaine as Bowie in Flight of the Conchords). But I'm with you. I loved that show from the get-go, but adding Bowie was so perfect.

Have you read Auden's Eulogy for W.B. Yates? It's one of my favorite poems of his, and expertly apes Yates style.
