Not to speak for Tasha, but I think her problem is that in a lot of ways Adlard's art goes for gritty realism, which is kind of undercut in that panel. I think it was more effective, but she's right to point out how over the top it seems. I'm sorry you find this nitpicky, but we're committed to looking at all aspects

Gotta admit, I'm feeling your anxieties as well - and I'm not sure the rest of our little bookclub has given us a ton of hope…

I think Herschel doesn't see the "barn zombies" as a risk - which is crazy, I know. They've been locked up in there tight for a couple months, with no accidents, and Carl's injury needs to be attended to before he can say something like: "Welcome to my house, watch out for the barn, though - zombies!"

We're doing a trade paperback per week, which are 6 issues each, so next week we'll cover issues 7-12.

We're tackling that right at the beginning next time. It really is a size constraint thing - we didn't want to be going on forever, and looking at Moore in relationship to Adlard seemed to make sense. But I'd like to get some talk about that going. What do you think the art in these issues brings to the table? (You'll

I have the first couple of hardback collections of Y and want to get to them, so this may be the perfect excuse. Locke and Key has also been on my reading list for a while.
