It sounds like Average Anna has a pretty good time until she gets married and has kids.  That was obviously her mistake.

They were dumb lol But most people were upset because they said it was racist and stereotypical. Once people took pictures and posted it to Snapchat and Instagram the school took down the menus then issued the apology. Like I said they’re stupid. If it tells you anything the school closed in 2017.

“I’m also fucking sick of the joke police shitting on comedians ..”

This has been a source of conflict for me since I was a child. I’m Cuban and when people in my lily white hometown would find this out they’d be all “Oh you must love tacos!” which:

Considering that is traditional Soul food, I don’t see the issue.

Was it advertised by white guys in blackface holding a Kenya flag?  If not it’s definitely a different thing

Lighten up, Harriot!

I looooove cobalt blue. So envious right now.

(You could also finish the ensemble in a contrasting color, like lemon yellow. That would be striking!)

That skit was a searing critique of the absurdity of that entire screwed up RK situation and of RK himself. Chappelle highlighted that situation using the tools that he is a master of, namely, comedy.

Welp, Clayton Bigsby isn’t real.

I think Brennan is a decent guy, and he’s right that some people do miss the point of comedy.  Even if nobody made fun of R Kelly like that, he still likely would not have been convicted.

I get that people digest content differently based on a million different factors. I get that victims and those close to them (rightly) can’t tolerate jokes about this shit, but... I can’t be the only person who remembers how critical that skit was of Kelly.

WTF!? No love for Ernie Hudson as Winston Zeddmore? It’s he was a ghostbuster or anything...

Iowa, The Punxsutawney Phil of General Elections.”

On a whim, I went out and bought a Cuisinart stand mixer because I thought my wife could use it to make pies during the holiday season. When I brought it home, she burst into tears and asked if I could return it and get a Kitchen Aid instead.

I have mine in matte black. It makes me think it’s the implement Batman would use to make cookies, which inspires me to make more cookies. Win-win.

Mine is a charcoal gray metallic. It lives in its base cabinet on a spring actuated shelf that brings it up and out to counter height. Under thst shelf arr cupcake pans.

The responses are fucking insane. I can’t see how anyone finds it offensive to suggest it’s better that a grown man intervene when a school kid is being beat up by a gang of kids?

I’ve been diving deep into discussions about this ad on my social media lately and men still can’t tell me why they are specifically upset about this commercial.  It just gets sidetracked about politics, religion, etc.

This is a very long, roundabout way to say you’re making a false distinction between punishment and consequences.
