Only thing I've not heard of before is the FLIR...it doesn't look 'cool' either...I like the one they used in Transformers - is that actually used anywhere in the US? Coz it should be!

With 'tab tearing' - you can also drag one IE window onto the tab bar of another IE window - which then joins the 2 windows together

@RJackson: You can drop the tabs to a separate row. That then gives you the full width for tabs
