That’s not what he’s saying. He’s saying ease of use through minimal required effort and attention should be a primary design concern. Thus the touchscreen which cannot provide that experience is a failure. Humans are just faster at using buttons with less thought, be it a cellphone, ATM, or climate controls.

The beauty of the stalk is the ease of flicking it in one direction or the other without much thought. Those buttons have to be pushed very deliberately, which I assume would reduce utilization.

Well, what’s the point of being a valet then?

Did you just call Biden Vindictive for rolling back Trump’s executive actions?

It’s a headline. But unlike the previous administration, his headlines usually come with a plan, which I’m sure includes (or will include) an accounting of existing vehicles in the fleet, which are due for a replacement, and which are good candidates for replacement with electric vehicles in the near term.

Still, a good idea though. Even if it’s just the title of a plan, not even a concrete plan, it gets people going. The pessimists will raise all the questions, the optimists will dream the impossible, the realists will write down what can be done. Even a baby step is a step forward.

I, for one, am adoring Jay’s “Pandemic-edition” videos. No PR people marketing a new vehicle. No videos that almost feel like an “obligation” that Jay is trudging through. Just him and one of his own cars, or a car he’s borrowing, that he is truly, truly passionate about.

Driving into an unruly crowd at an illegal event doesn’t qualify as “Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.”?

Well for starters, not drive into a crowd where he knew he was outnumbered and in potential danger?

Yeah I think the idea is that cops aren’t supposed to kill people before arrest or trail.

I am not in advertising, but if I was I would be calling the Arkansas democratic committee and BEG them to make a commercial pro bono.  There is SO much material to work with here.

“For sale: 1970 Dodge Dart GT, 225 cu in. Former state car, all leather, aircon works, well cared for, only orbited once”

Um, the rocker cover on the stand is black, the one in the van is white.

n FYI, Facebook 100% restricts prices on cars if you label it too high or too low.

It’s a simple fix: the company has a camera(s) to use for the pics from the shop floor. No-one should be using their personal phones to take pictures. Pure company phones can be OK as well.

Oh stop it.

“efficient crossovers”

The HRV is based on the Fit. It manages to be slower, more expensive, uglier, thousands more expensive, AND 15-20% worse on gas. What a great deal!

Gas will get expensive again if we ever have politicians that look to make driving a secondary mode of transport, not the norm.

A Fiesta ST would DEFINATELY be better, but also more than 12 grand.

Yeah, it seems like people on here seem to think it’s a $6000 car, which is just wrong. But 12k is definitely a little high, probably should be more like $9,999.

Plus, remember that if they want a quick SUV it’s GM, they have a ton of performance names in their history, they could make it a GMC Typhoon or Syclone, a Buick Grand National, a Buick Wildcat. Hell even their product codes are sometimes legendary, a Chevrolet IROC-E might be a bit tricky given that IROC refers to
