Certainly not the 3rd gen Fit in the lede ...unless *maybe* that picture was taken at the start of ‘15 MY production in Mexico in late calendar 2014. In that case the usual teething troubles of a new car in a new factory plague early-build Mexican ‘15s. 

I”d like to see them go full retro with a base model manual. Not in the sense of ‘80s level infotainment (I lost track of my cassettes years ago) but colors and trim. Gimme ice blue metallic with a blue velour interior!

What I think is cool about it is how tall and dumpy it is, which really spoils the design they were going for. I think that’s cool because it’s how it would have to look if it were actually built on an actual Silver Cloud chassis.

SpaceX is a government contractor. That doesn’t mean a lot in a 1A context (contractors handle classified material all the time) but it doesn’t bode well for Musk either way since he *is* such a loose cannon.
