After how the Crown Vic plant did not get retooled for other cars and was left to rot, I doubt Ford has the intelligence to efficiently retool their assembly lines.

My CEL kept coming on because of a faulty ECM. Kept thinking my EVAP Purge Valve wasn’t working when the ECM was actually not sending any signals to it - I replaced the EVAP PV to see if it fixed it...no joy. Got a replacement ECM from an identical car, plugged it in, problem solved.

Did my first serious wrenching last weekend on my Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. Took the plenum off of the engine to make it easier to access the fuel rails so I could pull the spark plugs.

And the sponsor only needs to pay if the flaps deploy during a race (outside of paying for the decals and minimum).

I find it funny how everybody in this thread talking about “suburban sprawl” being a bad thing is forgetting the fact that as suburban sprawl turns into actual urban sprawl, cost of living goes up because of rising rents and property values.
