Yeah it’s a bummer but that cougar successfully attacked a human and tasted human flesh so, uh, he’s gotta go.

I started about ten years ago at a Big Four accounting firm, where people with only an undergrad degree started at low-to-mid 50K and received 5-10% annual raises (on average, save those couple terrible years after the crash.) Other STEM field gigs paid about that or higher.

That is an oddly passionate response to a casual observation. Simmer down, fam, for you and I don’t really disagree here.

Sell nosebleed tickets for 5 bucks. It’ll improve the atmosphere, and teams will make money on concessions instead of staring at a sea of empty seats. Win-Win.

You beat me to this.

I forget exactly when that Eschaton scene takes place (300 ish?) but based on mine and my friends’ experience, once you can make it there then you can make it all the way thru.

RBI doesn’t measure the “ability to bat runs in.” What it does measure, however, is essentially the frequency at which his teammates reached base.

RBI is “worthless” as a tool for evaluating individual performance because it is so heavily reliant upon factors over which the player has no control. It also has no predictive value. It is, however, a useful way to track notable events that occurred in each game.

They’re not good hitters because they have the most RBIs. Rather, people with the most RBIs happen to be best hitters because they’re good enough to play for a long time and often placed in the upper part of the lineup.

I don’t know what kind of blackjack you’re used but I do know you always pot it when dealer shows a paint or ten.

Looking at the very next post, I thought he’d joined Univision.
