Thanks for that link. That must be a recent change? Granted, it's been a while since I had the problem, but I remember being angry that I had to go to a computer and verify my credit card information while I was on vacation away from my computer - I couldn't buy any new apps until I got home. (This was before you

There is, and I turned it on to protect myself from accidentally doing this recently when an app asked if I wanted to buy more tokens. I know if I let my kids use it, they'd click yes, not realizing what it was doing

You have to have a credit card on file to buy apps - even free ones. She could open another checking account and use a debit card, but she likely didn't know about the in-app purchases. If her Mom uses the iPad, she likely has it set to her iTunes account and credit card, and it doesn't give much of a warning when

@Zrock02: Not *quite* big enough, but works...

@FriedPeeps will kill for a CR-48: That's what I was trying to ask him - if he meant it as sarcasm by pointing out something small as excessive in a room full of so much that is very excessive.

@iamgrady: I'm thinking you didn't mean this as the serious issue that others are responding to?

Email is the equivalent of leaving a post-it on someone's door, to me. When they see it, they will read it. If I'd wanted to contact them any earlier than that, I would have called. If I forward an attachment I need them to see, or need a response to an email in a certain amount of time, I call and tell them I sent

@TekWarren: I work in places where I can't take my phone in. I can set it to call my office phone during those hours and not miss a call.

@diw321: If you wake up at a different time in a different place, could you wake up as a different person?

@ithoughtthespeedlimitwas90offi...: As soon as I saw the thumbnail of the video, I hoped this was what you did. I love it!

I use Mobile Noter which works pretty well. I'll probably keep using it until they make an iPad version.

@drongch: No problem! Always better to have the full context :)

@Whitson Gordon: Either they got distracted away with the promise of 1Gb, or they just needed a thinly veiled threat. The results, either way, are impressive.

More than a walk through - this has all the links. It's a good challenge, but you can use this if you get stuck or just want to.

"or so help me God..."

I think we should have a poll for this topic. The options should include 2 spaces as a choice, just for thoroughness. Pi should be an option, too.

@d00kiefl4kes: My iPhone makes a period and a single space with the double-tap. It feels like you double-spaced, but you didn't. Try it, and backspace over it to see.
