One of my favorite things about my netbook is that it has a solid state drive that doesn't need defrag. Very happy with that un-planned benefit.

"Facebook steals your information! boo!"
@ericesque: It took me a second - I couldn't figure out how to use it after reading the article
Ew. That does not make my morning cup-o-joe look appetizing right now. Raw chicken is not something that gets rubbed on anything other than a cutting board or pot/pan in this house.
That's awesome! I never would have noticed that the "To" had turned to a link if I didn't read this.
It's been working for me for two solid days now. I use Beejive as a chat program, but GPush has started working so well, we actually use that instead. It takes less time to open the mail app than the Beejive app, and the push notifications have been as near instant as you can get.
I'm excited to see what may become of this. Add pics from the iPhone? Articles recommended based on your position using GPS? I can think of some cool things.
@greatodinsraven: Technically, yes: [en.wikipedia.org]
@njefferson: OK!! :) I have had more referrals than I can use! Thank you! Please use this link now - It is the referral code of the first person to use my code. I am passing the torch.
@Justin C Cummings: Thanks for pointing out the blog post. They really did a good job explaining things and responding to the sudden outcry based on the LH article. I had never read the blog before, so it was embarrassing to see they had already talked about and announced the revenue generation ideas before.
@njefferson: Thanks for everyone using my referral link to try dropbox instead of just going to the page. I'm glad that we both benefit with the extra space, and it is an awesome tool.
My buddy needed a way to pass files to customers' computers, too. The USB drive would always get forgotten, or worse, get infected . . .
I completely missed this post at first. I used to use a Blackberry, so I have missed my push e-mail from the beginning. Neuvasync was too expensive for me, though I like them. I used their calendar sync before Google made calendars and contacts sync. The Yahoo work around is good, but the iPhone notification beep…
@boricua21ny: Version 1.5 had bugs that they recognized after this post, apparently. Go back to the blog [gmailgrowl.blogspot.com] and get a different version. 1.6 didn't work for me, so I had to uninstall and drop to 1.4. Works like a charm now. I don't get that error any more.
There is a lot of missing info. No mention of the SSD drives? That was a selling point for me.
@wowgolds987: I thought this stuff got caught before it made it here. Is there any way to report spam?
I had to enter a valid credit card on my account before I could download free content. I didn't have to use it, I just had to have it on file before I could use my account to buy stuff. I guess it's "for my convenience."
