Ha! I’ve been a fan of Mat’s since he was with CarBuyer (same with Rebecca Jackson) so I’ve been subbed to Carwow’s YouTube channel since it’s inception.

The Corolla sedan blossomed to that size for the E170 11th gen.

Except it’s stated they’re going with a younger version of Batman and Urban is the same age as Affleck.

Strangely enough, foreign automakers haven’t seen the collapse of demand for sedans quite as sharply as US automakers, and are thus continuing to offer them.

The Roxor is an ORV because I don’t think there’s a way for them to make it street legal, the Jimny, being a modern vehicle, could easily be street legal in the states.

2 years! They didn’t start selling until Fall 2017.
And this was exactly my thought.

I think the issue is people with AWD cars get over confident in their vehicle’s capabilities, and in the case of mid-sized and full-sized SUVs they also forget that increased mass of their vehicle is a hindrance when braking is slippery conditions.

Leftover meatloaf is the stuff of great sandwiches!

The Japanese have been perfecting their apology techniques for centuries.

I was annoyed to find out Canada is getting the hatch in addition to the sedan we get here.

Oh no,the lowest horsepower engine offered offers the lowest amount of horsepower!
I get the feeling some people would have only been happy with 254 hp, or one less horse power than the more powerful 4 cylinder.

They could position it as more more premium than the Camry and as sportier than both the Camry and the Avalon and badge snobbery would protect Lexus model sales.

My reservations have more to do with trying to keep up with traffic with 50 horsepower.

It’d be perfect for driving in the city! I’d have reservations about taking it on the highway though.

In Japan the base model starts at ¥2,656,800 or about USD$25,500 and the top of the range starts at ¥3,850,200 or USD$35,500, so it’d be much less, less then an IS too.
That said this is second generation has been in production since 2009. If they introduce a 3rd gen I’d definitely like to see it here in the states tho

But is this really “humblebadging” or lame attempts at “sleeper-izing”?

I just don’t think I’d want to do business with someone who’s business isdo sell and deliver mattresses and makes the decision to buy a muscle car over a pickup to conduct those deliveries. God knows what other bad decisions he’s made in regards to the business.

Even if they’d gone with a more pleasing aesthetic there’d still be the issue of this 5th generation having been in production since 2007.

Dispite the base engine being 660 cc, the Jimny isn’t a kei car. Kei cars are currently limited to a length of 3.4 m and a width of 1.48 m while the Jimny is 3.645 m long and 1.645 m wide.

My all-time favorite bro truck I’ve ever seen was a newish (for 5 or so years ago when I’d see it), lift Ford F-350 quad cab diesel with a hard tonneau cover. It also had no hitch nor even the hardware for a removable hitch so it was clearly not a work truck.  I had to conclude the driver was just massively insecure.
