When I see how long it takes society to accept change (environmentalism, etc), I’m reminded that it took us a generation or two before we accepted that wearing seatbelts is a good idea.

Worked in a deli a long time ago; had hand mauled by meat slicer. Given a choice between the two options you’ve presented, I’d rather prepare a scathing exposé on Trump.
What Oliver is doing is necessary. Trump can’t handle more than one or two feuds at once. He won’t be able to resist sparing with Oliver and Oliver won’t give any of the shits because he’s a journalist and doesn’t have to worry about losing political capital for getting into the muck.
This was arguably one of his best episodes he’s done, and it’s a shame to say that because spending this much time on an asshole like Drumpf is akin to putting your hand in a meat slicer.
