I think the Beedle marriage thing is a reference to Beedle appearing in several other Zelda games, so his reincarnation gets to meet Link again like a soulmate or something...

Different games for different purposes.
Unless the “plot” of a game is everything for you.
I get that it’s an hyperbole, but they sold 2.3m of the NES classic during the first run.
It’s an emulator (software version of the original hardware) with a bunch of games loaded on it. You can extend the library by “hacking” into it trough the USB port and adding more games. But there’s no port to slot in old cartridges.
Arguing that a company always makes nonsensical decisions on purpose is definitely near-sighted.
They either have different priorities (complex agendas?) or make differing predictions (bold ones? conservative ones?). Literally no company “hates money” if oportunities are given. Just, maybe you meant that they need to…
Look at the sales of Zero Mission
Reggie is often source of vagueness and PR statements. My guess is he has to improvise with the few infos he’s given while not having that much power when it comes to production (marketing, advertising, events, localisation and testing are Nintendo of America’s main roles).
So then can we conclude from it that it takes a whole year to prepare for a batch of production of an already designed product?
Their style is mostly Content ID for Youtube revenue, Cease and Desist for fangames devs and DMCA notice for fangame hosting sites.
I recently found out about some of the Japanese names of the enemies and they are also amusing (you can probably guess who’s who):
Sonic Mania is multi-platform and has been reviewed very well so far, so it’s got that going at least.
Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island?
A system that only has Zelda is going to outsell a system that only has Knack.
Sonic Mania’s use of Denuvo is currently stopping players from enjoying the game while their computer or Steam client is offline.
Yeah, the ability to resell digital goods at all is a commonly discussed kind of consumer’s right enabled thanks to the gray market.
So the real part of the controversy was credit card theft enabling by G2A by their lack of ID process - actually costing some devs money in the past due to handling fees. And that bad PR rubbed off to the rest of the resellers ultimately unfortunately.
Edit: oh, so now the edit worked but I can’t edit the original…
Unless you buy in a pawn shop or buy products that “fell from the truck”, that TV was probably sold (at least to a store) at some point. And that’s the point.
I guess they still want normal people that don’t have Torrent programs to buy the game they are selling at full price (or future discount).
Couldn’t they put it on like itch.io for free?
I’m not really sure why everyone is getting mad at G2A themselves. What can they actually do about it?
