Put her in an animation cel.

What I’m disliking about this series is that Loki (at least our variant of him) is coming off really bad. He’s easily defeated. He’s easily manipulated. He lacks strength of will. Honestly, he comes off as having all the traits of a sidekick in his own series.

Y’know, I didn’t know much about this game but the more I hear the more I think I’ve gotta check it out.

I think Netflix has plenty of good stuff, but their model is built on overwhelming amounts of content strategically targeted, as opposed to quality overall.

1) There are many good Netflix Original Series

2) Most people have bad taste. Most content, on most platforms, is bad to mediocre.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought they totally whiffed that big “one-take” action scene at the end, lol. If your big choreography sequence requires both leads to stop dead in the middle of the street for like half a minute, for no discernible reason, while a literal apocalypse is happening around them you

Corporate America has no idea what do with a holiday that’s not meant to sell stuff and recognizes the failings of our nation.

I truly apologize if the menu came off as subjective

I assume it means it will exist in this universe only:

The desire to hold people accountable is good.

i mean, he’s just wrong?

Hopefully the writing for Drax improves so he doesn’t spend another movie shout-laughing at other people’s pain and telling women how ugly they are.

Honestly the biggest change I’ve noticed is Rexplode in the comics was an asshole, while Rexplode as voiced by Jason Mantzoukas in the animated series is such an insufferable asshole that I want to punch him in the face.

Good Points, but I think Walker is a much more nuanced character than you give him credit for. His talk with Battlestar does show that he feels like his time in Afghanistan may have been for nothing and something the Army didn’t really prepare them for. It also shows that he wants to do the right thing.

Then you have Karli who is a stateless, biracial, poor, marginalized teen who needed to work with criminal organizations in order to survive. She has a moral code which is like Steve Rogers, in that she protects and advocates for those who cannot and stands against bullies, but she cannot work within the state

Firstly, Sulagna, great reviewing throughout. Even when I disagreed with your takes, I appreciated that they were well thought out and made sense.

It was a sincere moment, and those have been too rare in mainstream entertainment of the last twenty years. The “very special episode” of 90s TV (Full House, Saved By The Bell) became such a fixture of mockery that anything approaching sincerity is now immediately salted with a side-eyed wink that “haha we know this

Nah, I don’t think so. I think the cringe factor is fair.

I was disappointed the title at the end wasn’t “Captain America and Bucky”. Or “Captain America and the White Wolf’”. Like, the whole show was about both of them growing beyond their old handles and limitations! Obviously Sam’s transformation is a little more flashy but still.

This gets mentioned from time to time, but just how good is Marvel at casting for its characters? Back in 2014, Anthony Mackie seemed like a guy destined for a bit part as Captain America’s other sorta sidekick, somewhere in the Hawkeye or lower tier of characters. Seven years later, and Mackie has shown himself to be
