I like The Mick a lot. So damn funny, Kaitlin’s physical comedy, Alba’s descent into debauchery, Jimmy (MVP if you ask me) and Mick actually giving a slight shit about these kids. Plus poor Sabrina, I really wanted to know what happened to her.
The Mick was better than the last two seasons of Brooklyn Nine Nine.
Eh, Sabrina is going to be fine. She will wake up from her coma, walk it off, and go to Yale. She is way too tough to let a little lightning strike keep her down (she is going to be pissed at Mickey for encouraging her to stay out in a lightning storm holding a samurai sword though).
Like its creative team’s predecessor, Parks and Recreation, B99 manages to be both hilarious and nice. It’s tear-worthy.
Nope, I loved it too. Dee in the Suburbs.
Me and my girlfriend have watched the Mick religiously. It’s seriously one of our favorite shows currently on air.
Holy shit agreed right? This is horrifying news, Kaitlyn Olson and the cast of The Mick were fucking brilliant. That ginger kid that plays Chip, AKA Chocolate Chip, AKA Chips And Dip, was fucking hilarious.
When was the last time a sitcom got cancelled on as brutal a cliffhanger as The Mick? Was it Clone High?
The Mick’s willingness to just...injure the hell out of its cast in increasingly absurd ways never ceased to crack me up.
And you’re right re: Alba. She was great! I liked that the jokes around her never stemmed from her size or that she was an immigrant. It’s that she’s a damn hedonist now that she can be.
I think you and I might be the only ones that watched The Mick. I especially loved how Alba’s size was never a joke. And it was just really fucking funny.
Thats literally all I watch on fox.
truly incredible collection of comedic talent
Just pretend that bit about the bunker people never happened, that’s what i’m going to do because then you get a nice end where the group lives in harmony with goats in the citrus/avocado grove
The folks at Steven Universe are nicely coy in their episode descriptions. Last night’s first installment, in which Steven had to travel to the crystal gems’ moonbase and re-engage with a presumed-disappeared Lapis Lazuli, and try to convince her to return to Earth, was basically described as being about a minor…
Oh my god, I was wrong
It was Pink all along
It never occurred to me before this occasion that it might be, but when it happened in this episode, it seemed to obviously involuntary, beyond her control. It was a bit terrifying.
It’s long been my personal contention that Rose was a fundamentally selfish individual, endlessly fascinated by the new, the novel. Embracing and encouraging things outside the established order was just a way to experience vicariously. She obsessed over humans because they’re constantly changing from the moment…
Anything, really. These idiots were slowly walking fully upright down a ridge on an open field at a fortified position armed with long range weapons while themselves using close range personal defense guns and no cover or armor. What the hell were they thinking? What kind of idiot approaches a fight like that? Why are…
The last we see of the (I think unnamed?) woman from the cold open, she’s survived the tiger attack only to wind up in the less-than-charitable hands of the Ghost Nation. Which could be either a mean-spirited joke—congrats, you’re dead!—or could mean she’ll show up later. I hope it’s the latter.
