I’ve seen a few clips, and I was just really put off by how selfish and unlikable the protagonist is. It seems like a TBS exec saw Rick & Morty and asked, “How can we do this, but with less risks,”. I’m so sick of these kinds of dim-witted, “everyman” white dude characters that just screw up constantly and do bad

I was sad it wasn’t a legitimate time loop, but at least we saw Gideon again.

This is when Legends of Tomorrow became my favorite Arrowverse show. This episode was so much fun, not even the fact that it was obviously on a budget brought it down. Zari’s fun montage might’ve been my favorite part of the episode.

Everyone’s trying to mock this response for over-sensitivity.

I have had no problems using it as my ‘dinner’ on evenings I go from work to grad school. I am not stuffed but do not feel hungry so it seems to do the trick.

That Kara wants to look for the good in Julia absolutely rings true to her character. But in order to inject some conflict into the episode, writers Jessica Queller and Paula Yoo wind up making Alex feel really out of character.

This is the story of all the people trying to stop the events in the loop from happening. Those who thing they can do it by preventing SHIELD team from going back. And those who hope they can do it when they go back. And even those who lose hope as they see it all play again just as they remember it.

That is not even remotely true. There was a litany of refusals, and at one point Ansari even acknowledged her clear discomfort. Observe:

The reason what he said is bad is because, while it is true, it’s inherently dismissive of the victims of the “lesser crime,” and acts as an excuse for something that frequently leads to something worse down the line. What he’s saying isn’t literally incorrect, but his saying it makes has some pretty messed-up

Yes, you’re right. But the issue is that, for starters, he sounds like he wants to take the attention away from the buttslappers and back on to the good men. Which is not what needs to be done right now. Also, as mentioned it’s the whole #notallmen - the problem with this is that people who behave inappropriately in a

Elliott also repeats his line about the top one percent of the top one percent that he said in the very first episode

Mr. Robot noteworthy music cue of the week: the Chinese version of (Sonny &) Cher’s “Bang Bang.”

Lots of references back to season 1 tonight, with the arcade, and wonder wheel, and miserable subway ride, and of course Vera.

I like the symmetry this show trades in, right down to the most minute details. In S1, when Elliott is going through pictures of his father on the disc, M83's ‘Gone’ plays. Now, at the end of S3, going through pictures of him and his Dad on a disc, M83's ‘Intro’ plays. Nice.

Angela and Elliot are not siblings, FYI. Just thought you might want to amend the sentence where they go up to his apartment.

Props to the actress who plays Chantal, because she must be the most irritating, grating TV character I’ve seen in a long time. I’m physically uncomfortable whenever she’s onscreen.

I adored Trenton. It was heartbreaking.

Might be something to do with the architecture.

If this isn’t an A episode, I don’t know what is. I was wondering what was gonna make this episode so special that they would air it without any commercials. A few minutes in, my thought process changed from “They’re not gonna do it all in one take, right?” to “Holy shit, they’re gonna do it all in one take.” (not
