At the start of the season, I was pretty deadset on the fact that I didn’t want to see Kate Kane brought back. However, Batwoman did a great job incorporating this new “face swap” storyline while also honoring their new Batwoman.”

Yeah, it IS a TV show.  I love TV shows, and I want them to be good.  So it bothers me when they aren’t.

The show has really disappointed me with that whopping deus ex machina of the TVA noticing Loki and Sylvie just in time to save/capture them. There’s a slight implication that their love connection was causing the nexus branch for some reason (maybe if two variants make out with each other the timeline just explodes;

I kind of hated this episode simply because it bored me. It’s a 2-minute concept gag repeated and stretched out to 22 minutes, and most of the variations aren’t funny or interesting enough to justify the exercise. The chaotic escalation doesn’t matter once you understand the premise that whichever version of the

Mac Walters should watch a video called “Why Mass Effect Should Be the Next Game of Thrones” on the YouTube channel Lessons from the Screenplay. They’ve put quite a lot of thought into adapting the games for a television series.

I remember that tweet!  Small world.  (And yes, the costs of healthcare, including dental work, in the U.S. are abhorrent.)

We haven’t seen much of her yet, but she’s likable and interesting. I hope she will stick around beyond this series. Given how important this setting seems to be for the future of the MCU, that just might be likely.

I felt robbed by Hulk figuring his shit out off-screen between Infinity War and Endgame, so on the list of good prequel ideas I’d definitely like to see a personal story of how he integrated his two selves during that time period.

What I find interesting is that Lady Loki’s apparent scheme to attack the ‘Sacred Timeline’ and/or the Timekeepers is the natural conclusion to what we saw Loki learn in the last episode: 1) That he has been plucked from his own life and cannot return; 2) that, even if he could, he was headed towards an inglorious

Right, I forgot about that until 2 minutes after posting my comment.  Came back to delete it, but it was too late.  This is what happens when you watch very late at night and then try to discuss the next day!

Batroc is still alive, isn’t he?  I thought Sam just left him in that building.

Honestly a messy finale for me. A short list of things that bothered me:

I loved the crestfallen Civil War theme after the fight with the Dora Milaje when Walker said with complete inadequacy, “They weren’t even super-soldiers.” I thought I was past the point where I could feel bad for the guy, but at that moment I was struck by the fact that everything he has tried to do since putting on

Especially since Bungie is a company that regularly promotes trans and Black awareness, charities, and voices.

Just to be clear, the “cleansing” refers to the Hive infestation of the Cosmodrome, against whom the Cabal are seeking revenge in this specific activity. (Although writing this does lead me to reflect on the fact that the Hive *are* a sentient species, however vile, and ‘clearing out an infestation’ is probably not

Destiny does have an amazing story, but you wouldn’t know it if your only experience of it is the campaigns, strike dialogue, and Drifter’s helpful pre-Gambit survival tips about which enemy factions you can and can’t eat. You mostly have to read the lore, much of which is excellent, and all of the pre-Beyond Light D2

Yeah, this one was upsetting.  Really underappreciated show.

You are not alone in liking Colony and being sad about its cancelation.

Oh wow, I forgot all about this show!

The season 2 finale of The Sarah Connor Chronicles went to a wild place, and I was so interested to see what the show had planned.  It’s at the top of my list for bitterest cancelations.
