Tobias Menzies?

I will take three months of cold rain over air that is hot soup and staggering summer electric bills.

I’m pretty sure Olivia Pope has demolished the “no white after Labor Day” rule. Bring on the stunning white coats!

Those could all be actual episode synopses for Doctor Who.

I don’t know if this strictly counts as a genre switch, but I’d like to give an honorable mention to the “Smile Time” episode of Angel.

I was just about to comment that I’m still upset about Keen Eddie.

I loved the book. I stumbled across it in one of those “Discover New Writers” sections at Barnes & Noble when it first came out. It skews toward the literary in terms of prose styling and theme.

After seeing him in The Night Manager (which in many ways felt to me like his audition for Bond), I’m OK with this. I would have loved Idris Elba, but Hiddleston will be fine. Anything he might be lacking is overcome by the sheer force of charisma he brings.

I think perhaps “ass” in that context is not synonymous with butt, but rather with donkey, i.e., “jackass.”

I was thinking of the “villain getting nonchalantly killed mid-speech” trope in his work.

“Maybe have Ramsay start saying something assholish only to be literally cut off and walked over to get to something more worthy of the characters time.”

Don't be that guy.
