Alas, I’ve never been able to get the Railroad ending to work, even after the patch. I ended up siding with the Institute with my first character just to finish the story. It felt really wrong.

I spotted him in Diamond City and Bunker Hill when I did my second playthrough and before I met him at the Railroad. I thought, “Heh. There’s Deacon in disguise.” I was amused.

That’s what I expected to find in Salem. Alas.

Oh, good grief.

I’d like to throw an honorable mention at Frederick, MD City Councilman Kirby Delauter, who threatened to sue the local newspaper for using his name in the newspaper “without his authorization” when reporting on a city council meeting. Naturally, the paper wrote an editorial chock full of his name.

Hrrm. I was able to sneak around the race track and take out the raiders but the robots didn’t react to me at all. A terminal I found suggested that I could then run robot races if I chose (but I moved on because I stumbled across the race track on the way to someplace else).

By the time I got to my 9th or 10th character in Skyrim, I started just wandering around picking up food and using it to cook various dishes.

As a former “non-games” journalist, when one reporter breaks an embargo, it isn’t only the violator who gets punished. Everyone gets punished when the source decides never to release anything early again. So, in short...

I really, really, REALLY wish that we (as a culture in the U.S.) were better able to have nuanced discussions about important issues and public policy. We’d be so much better served if we could. Alas...

I agree that we shouldn’t pretend that children that age who are on the cusp of puberty or experiencing puberty don’t have sexual feelings. I remember being 12 and sneakily reading smutty novels. Sexuality is a complicated and nuanced thing, even at age 12. Perhaps especially at age 12.

Ah. OK. Thanks for the context. I thought you were reading something into my comment that wasn’t there, but was trying to keep an open mind.

What do you even mean? Your comment contains neither logic nor context.

Good lord, I hope he’s not the PIO.

Whether she wanted to or not (and that is unclear from the information given — following him is not the same as consent, she could have been tricked, threatened, or coerced) is completely irrelevant, and since it’s completely irrelevant the investigating officer shouldn’t have brought it up. The problem with him

So Houston voters just rejected an anti-discrimination law based entirely on the notion that men might pretend to be trans so that they could rape women in bathrooms, but when a child actually gets raped in a bathroom in Houston, it’s basically ... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

“Super effed up” is Latin, right?

“Irving ISD spokesperson Lesley Weaver, pictured above, told the reporters at the press conference that the information on the incident “made public to this point has been very unbalanced.””

Total respect for MATN. I tried Dead Money at Level 33, and reached that point when you have to sound the sirens and run for it and had no stimpacks or anything and I just couldn’t take the damage the enemies were dealing, and couldn’t take them out fast enough to avoid getting killed. That DLC completely and

There may be something to your idea, but it also may be that people who would already be prone to consider violence as a solution may also be prone to selecting violent video games. The acceptance of violence may come first, or may derive from other cultural influences (like movies, TV, the nightly news, etc.) or the

The suggestion that Hillary was actually running the White House in the 90s is the first thing that’s made me want to vote for her. That was a good fucking decade.
