Here's a solution Eric, suggest to the new Google leaders that they buy Wolfram Alpha.

Hehehe, I just have to laugh at these insane slingshot designs, and how dangerous they are for the user. They're much more dangerous than the more advanced, diy air rifles.

Some HTML5 demos have been able to control the screen scrolling for touchscreens, and capture the finger movement on the screen as clicking and dragging.

I'm pretty sure you can play the first two games in 3D now.

Wow, I really want to participate but I don't have a prime lens yet, and almost everything at my house has already been photographed and tagged, "boring".

Just wait my friend, it will catch up soon. Even if it doesn't, our gadgets are using too much energy anyway, we need to become more efficient.

I should probably clarify, your eyes can't see all those tones and details in one go, they have to adjust. However, your eyes have a wider range for light sensitivity without adjustment than any camera sensor.

Our eyes do process light like the camera, in fact they process it even better. This however is HDR.

Yeah, it'd be nice to have screen resolutions of 1080p on the go, but it is still hard enough to drive the 1280x800 pixels of Android tablets today and get decent battery life, especially since they are all getting so much thinner too. I'd say once the next big battery breakthrough comes and CPU/GPU power consumption

What a bunch of chumps. I thought it was unique.

Hey, what happened to your signature?

Well, they tried. I will still love the Playbook, does everything I expected and more. Hopefully someone can hack it and install Android as a dual boot OS if QNX just dies.

"It doesn't do anything!", is a bit of an exaggeration, no? It's actually really nice for people who want to load it up with movies, shows, music ect. The browser is amazing on most sites. Of the few, there are a couple great apps for productivity, fun, media consumption. It does a lot, just not as much as some others.

Lol, but really it's not that bad a tablet. I love using it far more than the iPad.

Again, Gizmodo taking an unnecessary, massive dump on the Playbook. Also is it really much of a comparison, comparing the Kindle Fire to it?

Yeah when you consider the most popular tablet, the iPad is 9.7" and people are still complaining that it's too big and heavy for long use, then you should move down in size. When you use it for a while, the 7" size isn't that bad, provided you have a decent screen res.

Most of the premium 7" tablets do have the same res as the larger tablets. The iPad has 1024x768 and is 9.7", the Playbook has 1024x600. You're probably thinking that's still lower than the iPad, but the Playbook is made to have a 16:9 aspect ratio widescreen where as the iPad is 4:3.

So why was a grenade shot in the first place? Where did it come from?

I think it may be the, "sweet spot", as much as I love the size of my 7" Playbook, I feel it could be just a tad bit larger for some websites. I've tried out my dad's iPad, and it feels too large; this 8.9" tablet may be the best size.

I really don't get why so many people are shitting all over this thing. It's a great device on it's own. And who the FUCK uses their tablet as a second screen? Most if not all of the problems will be solved when OS2 is out after Devcon (about a month from now).
