Reminds me of another console mod I saw with an exposed spinning cd. Also I recall another gamecube mod that had an exposed cd as well.
@reddingofish: Doesn't solve your woe, but if they can they'll mount the sectors on tall buildings. That way they get rid of unsightly downtown towers (for the most part).

@whatne1wuddo: Absolutely nothing is wrong with them, as long as you can get the wire where you want it to go without tons of surface wiring. I use this at home for beaming tv around my house.
@muvolt: Uhh, this is wireless. HDMI is wired. Not all laptops have HDMI out on them either.
