How come women can’t go sleeveless when Paul Ryan is allowed to go spineless?

Came here for Gendry.

The last time I saw a super hero movie in the theatre or even at all (before wonder woman) Michael Keaton was batman. I think I went against my will with my parents. Super heros aren’t my thing. However, I binge watched Jessica Jones and I saw Wonder Woman. I didn’t just buy a movie ticket. I went to the fancy theatre

“He did not get any sun,” Murray added. “He had a baseball hat on.”

The uber rich, police commissioners, journalists...this shit sounds like a party at Wayne Manor. How come the Joker never crashes these types of events IRL?

Just goes to show that it’s all bs. Politics is nothing but interactive theater.

Well, I know I feel safer here in this shining city on the hill, this beacon of freedom, this safe harbor for the wretched and yearning, this symbol that if you work hard you can achieve anything!

Remember when Dwight Howard was an MVP candidate? I hated those days.

It destroys the flow and emotion of the match...

I’ve been an avid soccer fan for about 20 years.

While I agree that borderline calls without conclusive evidence to contradict the call on the field shouldn’t be overturned, you conceded that the other calls you analyzed here were all correct and resulted in a more just and accurate outcome than had they been ignored, rendering your entire argument “replay=bad”

Now playing

Exactly. I’m not seeing the examples in this article of why VAR shouldn’t be used. The reasons I can glean from Bill’s article are:

Now playing

So, your reasons for avoiding VAR are because 1) players don’t yet know exactly how it works, and 2) players get confused by overturning a call/goal with the correct call, using video evidence? I’m not sure you can hold these up as justification for VAR not being ready, especially when all of the examples you provide

“While the VAR probably did get us to the correct call ... also introduced a level of uncertainty and delay that are themselves huge reasons why replay is bad.”

Not a huge Apple fan but, Apple doesn’t refresh computers for years = bad. Apple refreshes computers the same rate as everyone else = bad.

Also that Bloomberg mostly made the money on his own rather than inheriting it.

It gives me extra satisfaction that Bloomberg is wealthier than Trump, because I know that must drive Trump nuts.

It almost makes me want to start watching it for the first time. Almost. It does make me wish that Arrow would have gotten him for Ra’s

Well done, Io9! You called it.
