Hockey: If it is tied after the 3rd period in the regular season, you have a 5 minute overtime followed by a shootout if necessary. In the playoffs it can go all night as you suggested, but remember that hockey also allows unlimited substitutions. Soccer has THREE.

“Imagine if this one sport adopted rules from a completely different sport to decide the outcome.”

So Haq a Shaq, that's the hallmark of a real sport?

Simultaneously the worst and best set of penalties I’ve ever seen.

Counterpoint: PKs is fine.

Zaza should be ashamed of himself
Tried to get in Neuer’s head and he failed, then couldn’t even get it on target.

All the worse in that he was specifically on to take a penalty.

Counterpoint: This is a fucking terrible trade for the Thunder because their spacing will now be a disaster. Teams might as well play a Box and One against them and let any non-Durant shooter jack up threes.

The spacing for a Oladipo-Westbrook backcourt will look like the Chilean miner’s cave.

Well I’m a Blazer fan, so fuck this question.

Taking any one of Carmelo Anthony, Chris Bosh, or Dwyane Wade over Darko, obviously. That pick had the potential to be a “James Worthy to the Lakers” kind of dynasty maker. Instead, the Pistons took a player whose greatest career accomplishment is getting a blog named after him.

By far the best moment in Arrow’s entire run is when Ollie realizes that sometimes you just wanna punch people that are really far away.

It’s like some Fullmetal Alchemist “equivalent exchange” shit right there.

Yeah, while Marvel has perhaps my favourite components (specifically AoS and Agent Carter, although I do like the Netflix shows too) they don’t feel as cohesive (and therefore, for me, as satisfying) as the CW shows do. The CW/DC shows feel like a universe with a broad but connected tone, where you can move within it

It’s the beautiful irony of the thing. Marvel has a better cinematic universe, but DC has a better TV universe, especially if you count the DC animated series. Both could learn a lesson from the other, but as long as people pay money to see things, it’s not going to happen.

1) Melissa Benoist.

Look, Barry Allen made a dumbass decision by choosing to save his mom, but I get where he’s coming from. Despite what he says he’s never gotten over her death and now on top of that he’s just lost his father too.

The Knicks definitely traded Robin Lopez away to sign Dwight Howard. Next year their starting lineup is going to be Derrick Rose, Aaron Afflalo, Carmelo Anthony, Kristaps Porzingis, and Dwight Howard, and they’re gonna win 39 games and lose to the Hawks in the first round of the playoffs.

GOD FUCKING DAMN IT

Can’t wait until they sign Dwight Howard and finally build a team to take on the 2010-11 Heat.
