The 3DS was considered a failure at launch

Am I the only one who thinks that the supposed "low quality" of these launch titles is way overblown? I mean, sure, Knack is getting sub-60 scores, but both Killzone and and DR3 are getting mid-to-high 70s on average, many multiplat launch titles getting mid-80's scores...yea, there's really not a "fantastic" launch…

Ubisoft appear to have at least done a decent job with their next gen versions of AC4. Sure they aren't far and away better, but the PC and next gen versions still feel like the preferable experience if you can get it.

So what happens when we look at our old Xbox 360 achievements in this mode? Are we just going to get a big empty screen with some sparse text?

And what "point" do games have as a whole? I wasn't aware that every mechanic involving gaming had to have a meaningful outcome.

It's be really neat if you could then use those images as wallpapers. Getting new wallpapers for your system would be another nice incentive to try and earn achievements.
