I’m an old man who’s been playing these games for most my life. Hating the company in charge of D&D is just part of the hobby. Whether it was when the Williams was running TSR into the ground, or when the “paper crack” guys bought TSR or when Hasbro bought them. The owners always sucked.

There’s a thread on Twitter with multiple victims posting their stories and DMs/texts from Roiland. It’s starting to sound like he was grooming girls as young as 16.

You really gave those imaginary people in your head hell today. Go ahead and take the rest of the day off. You must be exhausted. I know I am!

I love romance anime and am definitely a bigger fan of the “obvious couple” type, where it’s obvious who the couple is... there may be missteps and (short term) rivals, but they’re just toothless threats.

A lot of (terrible misogynistic) people accused her of lying about being shot, despite there being a video of her bleeding and the doctor who treated her saying she was. A lot of hip hop blogs reported a bunch of nonsense clearly leaked by Lanez team. So this is a standard “Women are whores who lie” situation just

Sony isn’t getting favoritism, sony is simply not the one in open process of purchasing a massive chunk of the industry. If sony were buying Activision then we’d be talking about Sony, but Microsoft is the one doing it so the focus is, rightfully, on Microsoft.

This Activision deal is not the same thing as Sony to buy up smaller studios one at a time. Sony buying a single studio does not significantly change the competitive landscape. This deal is on a completely different level, as the price plainly indicates. Those smaller deals can fly under the radar. The FTC is

Especially when your market cap is way over 1800 billion dollars, versus Sony’s less than 14 billion dollars. The size difference of these two corporations is immense. MS can gobble a corporation like Activision-Blizz and it doesn’t even make a blip on their balance sheet.

Are we really defending Microsoft’s attempt at a bigger monopoly?

Kinda weird so many people are defending Microsoft.

Agreed; I’ve never understood the push to multiplayer every game. Lots of games are just fine as single player experiences, and lots of single player games would be even better if their devs hadn’t spent so much time hacking in a multiplayer experience that didn’t need to happen.

I don’t think (?) that foreign judgments have preclusive effect over here, and this verdict is not going to be thrown out because of a venue issue (I don’t think, although that quote from Depp’s attorney is pretty damning on this issue). But yes, that this case ever even got to a jury is patently absurd.  There is

tbh I was hoping the quest would end in a threesome with them.

Same. I really enjoy Cyberpunk and am on a PS5 upgrade playthrough (I played it on a vanilla PS4 initially). During none of the playthroughs have I spent time reading through all the random shards you get. They’re like Skyrim books.

Started a slow replay of this one after the anime, and am still bombing around Watson in act 1 before the lockdown. Regina’s missions and all that, seeing what that area - and the game - is like without Johnny, you know?

...which is a problem that only exists because the TEAM of talented engineers that were *already there* got canned.

and now he wants to get into bed with an openly bigoted transphobic conspiracy theorist who pals around with people who love to see queer nightclubs get shot up

Yeah, I remember playing these in my initial run through the game.

You clearly didn’t play the game because this quest has been in the game since launch.

You missed the invisible shuttle on the roof of the maelstrom hideout (where the two guys immediately climb to after you finish chasing them), if you beeline for the roof and take out the two guards en route one has an encrypted message. Regardless the invisible shuttle takes off and you can complete the mission by
