Well, he was supposed to be just the dashing hot guy in the early eps, and Michael the "stable, steady" (to quote Alba) guy. I like that they no longer present a clear option between the two, despite Michael's bad turns of late.

Now I'm thinking, it would've been awesome for Selena to have guest-starred on the show - if she was still alive, of course.
