Maybe I’m jumping to conclusions here, but it seems, just maybe, that Barry Switzer is illiterate. Hell of a footbaw coach...But illiterate.
10000% agree, Drew. The most troubling part of Izzo’s meltdown (and it was a meltdown) is that he appeared to make PHYSICAL overtures at the kid. I mean, this exact behavior is what terrible, bully fathers do to their kids. Yelling at a kid is one thing. Izzo was going to punish the kid physically. I assume he does…
Drew’s quote hits the nail right on the head. Izzo went berserk and even the kid he was yelling at was defending him. Great, no victims here? Bottom line, as Drew pointed out, Izzo took the easy path. It should be obvious that you can be mad, and even yell, at a person to get their attention. But you don’t have to do…
The number of national media types defending this shit-heel behavior is ridiculous. He loves these players! No he doesn't. He is using them so he can get that second championship.
All sports fans are terrible, but soccer fans are the worst. I mean, does anyone question this? We had a referee KILLED by a dude in a recreational league a few years ago.
Worth the wait! Best one ever!
Good call. I thought something just didn’t look right about this. I played the heck out of this game and I could tell there was a difference.
At the time there sure were a bunch of experts saying the pilot messed up and questioned why he did what he did. Turns out, he was a Sully-level hero.
I hit this exact shot the other day - guy was running directly at me so I thought I had the perfect opportunity to test this.
Longbow over here!
I try to rock that combo and I have mixed success because I’m not the most accurate shot and I prefer mid-range fights. My favorite combo is Spitfire + sniper of some sort. I’ve done very well with the Spitfire because if my first 2 shots miss I have plenty more. The Wingman is great if you are accurate.
I had a round where two guys in my squad were inside a building and got knocked from a team outside. They got in front of the door so the opposing team couldn’t open it. I casually came up from behind and got a solo team wipe while they stood there desperately clicking on the door so they could go in and thirst.
Counterpoint to all these comments: It’s just a dumb kid who did a dumb, spur-of-the-moment thing. He was corrected. Life goes on.
Their arguments and conversations were somehow epically boring.
I thought the ending was garbage. I don’t really like mysteries where the viewer isn’t given all the pieces to work with. And not only that, the solution to the whole thing is fed to us by a deus ex machina narrative machine in the form of his dead wife.
Meanwhile, in my very first game of Blackout on PC I wound up in a random squad who told me “You better not fucking suck” about 10 different times before TK-ing me.
Damn, what is Kill so shook up about?
Looking forward to seeing them depict Vince Neil murdering people and totally getting away with it.
Same here. First game I ever won this happened. I just thought you had to totally eliminate the last team, which made no sense.
