One detail that always has been very infuriating to me is that the window chrome line on BMW’s E60 5-series doesn’t line up. The straight line goes beyond the line which comes down from the windows, even though that is probably more bad design/build than design trends.

this is actually even worse; a plastic chrome line somewhat resembling exhaust tips that looks extremely cheap and unnecessary in real life.
