Seems like starting with fax machines and email and then cell phones and teleconferencing, there just aren’t many situations where physically getting from one continent to another a few hours sooner will make any difference to anyone. I’d like to fly faster than sound for the novelty of it, but I’d only do it once in

I see the new ‘Integra’ is going back to its roots of heavy cosmetic modification with minimal engine mods. Just like the good old days.

Unibody SUVs are a thing. You have the Bmw x5 and the VW Toureg, Jeep Grand Cherokee. I think SUV-ness depends on what the “bones” of the Vehicle is made out of. For example  VW has their “MQB” platform wich is used to make the polo, golf, jetta, passat and tiguan I think the tiguan would not qualify as an suv as it

This is an SUV because Hyundai is selling a boat load of Palisades and need to balance out that fact on their CAFE rules. If Hyundai’s biggest hit had been some sort of giant car, then the Ioniq5 would be called a car.

The thing is, the 253 HP 3.5 liter V-6 WAS a hot motor in a 2,850 lb. car back in 1999, even when handicapped by a 4 speed automatic.

I support content that is not made into a slideshow!

My browser must be broken, this came across as a normal article and not some infernal slideshow.

LFX is better than 3800.

It appears as though the Nautica Edition Mercury Villager was included on this list by mistake. Please remedy this error as soon as possible.

The HD F-150 was awesome. It was an almost-Lightning with better towing and more passenger space. I couldn’t give two shits about the HD shields all over it, but if you wanted a factory supercharger on your SuperCab or SuperCrew, the HD was the way to get it.

Holy filters.

There was a particularly rough couple of years, 08-09 IIRC where everything including vaunted Toyota and their 2.4L (Camry, Rav4, Scions, etc) had BIG oil burning issues due to the lower tension piston rings.  Honda Accords with the 2.4 of these same years had some issues, one has to assume there is perhaps one major

The GM 3800 has to be up there. Didn’t matter if you were drag racing, driving the Indy 500, or going to the grocery store over a ~40 year period, it had ya covered.

Except they will likely have some sort of requirement that the owner checks the oil at every gas fill up in their owners manual.

So someone somewhere is upset that people are hesitant to pay close to six figures for a vehicle (that they absolutely need to get to work, and their kids to school) that may or may not work as well as the gas counterparts. May have severally diminished range in cold weather. They may not be able to charge. And may

Do you have any idea how much EVs cost? Also not everyone lives in an area where charging is easily accomplished.

For me, a car/bike show is best in the winter, when I’m looking for indoor activities.
