Golf R DSG is $43K CAD, and the S3 is $47 CAD. Now that’s not a proper comparison in terms of features, but if you’re just looking for a stripper S3 the delta is only about $4000. Call it $3000 USD.

It honestly depends. I myself bought an A3 because I was offered a far more attractive lease price than I was for a GTI. Meanwhile, having AWD is a tangible benefit as someone who lives in Canada.

Except that hell will freeze over before Audi sells the non-hybrid version of that one in North America. Because reasons.

...what? Where were you? I can’t think of a single instance of someone saying eh unironically.

As a Canadian, I call bullshit on every point, with an asterisk for the ketchup one (it’s a thing but quite heavily frowned upon).

People take out loans to pay for weddings?! Well, TIL indeed...

The old fashioned is the original cocktail. Any bartender who doesn’t want to make that is in the wrong line of work...

This is some seriously petty bullshit. He should make a point to continue parking there, but ideally with a dashcam to catch the POS who’s doing this.

Fucking BEANS for breakfast!

Your point is absolutely valid and I agree with you but it being a white wine definitely would have helped; they just don’t tend to get much better with age.

Yep, markup on wine is generally measures in the hundreds of percentage points.

It really hurts to see the Avant knowing that no matter how much money I’d throw at Audi, they’ll never bring it to North America...

My mom had a 2015 Soul and in the ~4 year she had it nothing major went wrong with it. The ride quality was a bit poor but the car itself was reliable.

Well I mean, I’m a current Audi driver and haven’t had a single thing break in my 3 years of daily driving it.

I think this car looks great and has some pretty serious performance, but I question the long-term reliability of it. Car and Driver’s long-term test didn’t exactly paint a great picture of it.

It is, but I don’t think the intention was necessarily to subscribe for the purpose of listening to one very narrow genre channel. It’s good as a “I really want to listen to New Wave this afternoon” type thing; then change to something else.

This is sort of to be expected with such a genre-specific station though. It’s either the station is a bit repetitive, or they go off the deep end and play music that people won’t like as much.

That’s not a good excuse. Unless we arrive at a point where tall people get priority for those seats, you can’t assume they were just available to them and ignored.

I almost lost a wheel on my way back to Montreal from Boston. I had switched over to my winter tires a week (and roughly 400km of driving) earlier, but on the way back I started to notice a weird shudder/knocking noise. I immediately found the closest Audi dealer, who in 2.5 hours couldn’t figure out that a wheel was

You make a good point, glass is far less damaging to the environment.
