As someone who stands 6.4' and flew Montreal to Rome on a charter flight [in economy class on top of it], I entirely agree with this. Never again.

I'm not expert on trucks, but if a lack of torque is the issue with these smaller engines, why not shift the focus to diesel engines? Wouldn't that go a long way to solving the problem?
There's definitely an argument to be made about him bearing some of the blame for lending the car, but does that really warrant life in prison?! Something seems fundamentally wrong with that.
I actually believe him. I think this is typical media bullshit, looking for a story where there is none. A lot of people really don't like him, so this seems like the perfect smear campaign.
Actually that's a good point. So I guess Coors Light's last saving grace has just been trumped.
Finally a use for Coors Light!
PCI-Express will always win this. Those USB ones tend to get really hot and then fail after a year or two. Plus many of the internal card models have multiple antennas, which can be moved and even upgraded as necessary. If you have a free PCI-Express slot, I can't imagine why you would choose the USB adapter instead.
It may be illegal, but I personally can't see why it's unethical. If a company A)No longer supports a game, and B)No longer exists in the first place, these games should become public domain, much like old books.
I can't claim for a second that I would fare better in a race than he did, but at least I have the common sense to not act like I'm in a video game like he was.
Fair point, some developers choose not to use that functionality. But the good news is that quite a number of games are well integrated with it; namely all the Valve games, and I know from experience that Borderlands and Age of Empires HD work flawlessly.
Steam is easily the best complete platform for gaming; especially if you have friends who use it as well. It's so easy to join a game someone you know is playing because Steam can put you directly into that match. The sharing and gifting also works pretty well.
A car is a big-ticket purchase. Why would you not test drive it before buying? There are so many things that you won't know about until you actually get in the car, and no amount of research can change that.
I've noticed a few news articles pop up saying this, but they're all quoting the same source which doesn't sound like it has any credibility whatsoever. As much as I want this to be true, unless it comes directly from his manager, we can't assume it to be true.
"No F1 car gets to run anything close to these speeds in the Curva Grande."
If Steam were the only platform there was, nobody would mind because it's well-designed, has a huge catalog, and Steam sales are amazing beyond belief. There are some people around here who seem to have it out for Steam, but having been using it since 2006, I have nothing bad to say about it. Even the time my account…
If you do a Windows Start Screen search for "my computer", the only result that comes up is This PC. Odds are the user would at least try clicking on that, and find it's exactly what they were looking.
You're on to something there about watching shows as they air. I never watch a show as it airs, I've gotten to a point where I'll wait X number of minutes so I can skip through the commercials; but more often I'll just watch it the next day; and sometimes I'll just watch it on my computer from the network's website.…
The only reason we haven't thrown away the cable box is because live sports over the internet is humorously bad. Sure you can stream MLB, NHL, and NBA (honestly the only one I care about is NHL), but you can't watch your local market team because the feed is blacked out; meaning you need a VPN to get around this. This…
Middle clicking to open a link in a new tab is such a great feature. Of course what this ends up meaning is that going to Wikipedia to look up one thing turns into an hour-long reading session when you start opening 15 other articles.
