I currently have a PS3 and Xbox 360; and will likely be getting both next-generation consoles "just because"; but even having the capability of playing any "exclusive" title there is, I still find myself doing 80% of my gaming on PC. Granted racing games are not suited to a keyboard and mouse, and that tends to be

I have as soft spot for the GM 3800, specifically the Series II as it's powering my current daily driver, but I'm also a big fan of the Oldsmobile Rocket 455 (and I guess by extension the similarly sized Buick Stage 1). 455 cubic inches of ridiculousness. It put out up to 400 horsepower and up to 510ft lbs of torque.

I pray to the powers that be that GM will never bring back their minivan platform. What bothers me the most about it is not that it existed, but that each brand they operated made effectively the exact same minivan with a different grille design.

best laugh I had today

The AC on my old car was the only thing I felt absolutely compelled to get fixed, even though I could have better spent the money fixing actual problems like the EVAP leak. And I even live in Montreal where the number of truly hot days don't justify the money I spent on the system; especially since it isn't as good as

If the enterprise side is worth anything, I dealt with HP and Dell tech support. HP's service was not as good, but I would attribute this to the fact that their on-site support was outsourced to a third-party company, whereas Dell provided their own. HP's guy once showed up to replace a motherboard and did it wrong,

Limiting creativity to an academic context, I come up with my best ideas when I'm feeding off the feedback and ideas of others. When working on a case study for example, there are possible ideas I would never have considered without someone else finding them, and then I can build on those ideas. This works both ways

Ovens tend not to heat evenly, and knowing where the hot spots are can really help when using it.

It hasn't made my passenger any more attractive or interesting.

People sure do find sick ways to create entertainment. What a senseless loss of life...

How about Benetton pumping fuel into the car at a higher pressure than was allowed in '94? This was highly dangerous but it did let them get more fuel into the car compared to the other teams stopping for the same length of time.

I've worked in a restaurant, and we used to wipe down the cutlery with vinegar after it came out of the dishwasher. It worked to polish it up a bit and get rid of any residual water spots. As for the smell, once it was wiped, the smell was already gone.

I big factor in this is the quality of the cheese you buy in the first place. I've had some that tasted great and fresh, and some that were just terrible.

I have a 545MB hard drive from 1995, which was run hard and reformatted many dozens of times over the years, and it still spins up just fine. (No, I don't actively use it any more, but every once in a while I pull out that old computer and it runs just fine).

You have to be kidding me... You can actually get this car without a radio?!

I don't think I dislike it so much because it's boring (which it is), but I'm more offended by the droves of young people who insist on modifying the shit out of the Golfs and make them look ridiculous.

Or you have severely old and yellowed headlight lenses! Although that's a problem in and of itself.

There's a reason why Quebec legislates the use of winter tires from December 15 to March 15 because YOU NEED THEM. Maybe in California you don't need winters but if you live anywhere that has snow on the ground for more than a day, they become completely necessary; it's very much a safety issue.

You're kidding right? Have you ever tried driving in actual snow when the temperature is right around the freezing point? Obviously not; because then you would be making some sense and talking about how necessary actual winter tires are.
