DNA could be linked to behavior theoretically but not in the treatments that we have available to us in modern medicine. Organ transplants and bone marrow transplants with the host DNA don't produce neurons or hormones (aside from the pancreas primarily). In terms of typical organ transplants like kidney or liver,

the aztek!

that thing looks hideous. i'll take the soho apt thank

I'm a bit confused. I understand the dead plant matter not decaying but why would the carpet of leaves continue to thicken? Is the vegetation still living and producing/reproducing at the same pre-meltdown rates? Odd that the microbes responsible for decomposition are the ones affected but not the plant life that's

I'm obviously not even in the same class as all the other bachelors here considering my sports-mobile consists of a 2009 honda civic coupe and a bicycle...:(

all the star wars and lord of the rings. by the time i got around to it, nobody would sit through 10+ hours of the trilogies with me

surgery resident here, taking off the leg at the level of the calf and implanting it in to the arm is 2-4 hours depending on how they supplied the blood flow to the calf. the bulk of the operation it sounds like was dissecting the tumor out which can take HOURS. as surgeons we look for a "plane", or a distinction

I used to have one in high school (only 10 years ago)! I loved that damn thing

holy hell, i didn't realize the SL had bumped up in price that much! I remember when they first redesigned it in early 2000 it was in the 70-80 range.

Agreed, the price point I think was really the reason they never sold well. This car prodded benz to make the SL what it is today, that and the image of cadillac was in the gutter when this came out. A new XLR wouldn't be a bad idea with it's currently line-up, it'd mesh a lot better too as long as the MSRP 60k-ish

I think it looked than it's mercedes counterpart when it was first debuted. the mechanical hard top was definitely pretty nifty at the time, but agreed on the performance. it filled a void that obviously didn't need filling and the MB SL quickly surpassed

Cadillac XLR. I actually really liked the look of these cars but the price point was entirely way too high. I haven't seen one around in a while, probably because they sold a whopping 12 of these in 2011

Seriously?? I got my masters at NYU and did some of my residency at SUNY and never even thought twice about the wifi. Can't believe CUNY doesn't have free wifi for its undergrad students.

Agreed, I live in Brooklyn and commute to long island every day, 30 mins on a good day if i catch all the lights. Anything less than an hour and I'm glad, even though it's only 14 miles away.

We rarely put somebody completely out, and by that I mean requiring the assistance of a ventilator to breathe. It's a deep sedation or "twilight" sleep. You still maintain function of your midbrain allowing you to take your own breaths but you won't remember or feel a thing when you wake up.

Thanks bud, I'll walk down the hall and talk to them myself. If you want any of my old texts let me know, I'm sure they could help you out

You're absolutely correct about WWII being more than 50 years ago, that was me just being tired from being on call and simply not doing the math.

I'm a surgeon in the states (from India at that) at a level one trauma center so thanks for playing but I'm pretty sure my knowledge of neurosurgery exceeds your one anecdotal story. You think the plastics were only around since 1970? Try checking back at the experimental stages AFTER WWII where most of our trauma

I'm not completely sold on the Freedom Pop. What campus doesn't offer it's students, or the public in general free wifi? Especially in an urban setting, I've never had difficulty finding a place with free wifi

Agreed, I used to carry my laptop and ipad mini. My bag now just contains my ipad mini and maybe a book that I haven't been able to get a electronic version of.
