Man, that’s the pits, what a wreck. This would be a good time for him to take stock of his life. When life throws you a left turn, lean in to it but use caution. He can bank on a court-ordered recovery program. It’ll be a long road but I’m sure he’ll make it to the finishline though success won’t just land in his lap.

Now playing

It’d be nice to see stats on the ratio, theme, etc of woman/man focused ads. Otherwise, it's difficult to know how much of a problem it is

There were somewhere between 25k-30k people this year. While that is a lot of people, it never felt like the crowded shit show that SEMA is. Being in a big open space, if you want to setup your camper away from everyone else, there's plenty of room for that.

My Miata

Pretty apt name for the town this car is in.

Agreed. Most cars cannot go from the dealer lot to the racetrack and run full boar at race distances. But, it is kind of late in the game for them to reengineer the car. This should have been the first thing they tackled.

Mustang's eyes were bigger than its stomach

A drift is a controlled oversteer situation sustained with countersteering. This Tesla is certainly drifting.

Back windows down to better hear that lovely tire squeal. Front windows up to keep the pompadour in place.

I hate to say I told you so, but... I did

There are 10s of thousands of carjackings each year in the US

Just like Apple and Google having all their profit held up overseas is helping the US. Not to mention some of the most profitable US companies pay little to no corporate taxes. Face it, corporate profits have much less benefit to the country than they should, regardless of country of origin.

Same here, in a 2009 Sonata. The driver was going 35-45 when they hit us (and then left the scene). Headrest did its job for me and prevented whiplash. Unfortunately my SO at the time wasn’t so lucky.

In the Wrangler and Miata the headrests are horribly positioned so using them would be uncomfortable. For the Grand Cherokee and R8 they are great to use on long road trips.

That’s badass! Congrats!

I say this everytime a Horizon game is announced: “Why isn’t it an open world simulation using the fairly legit Forza proper physics?”

Isn’t this the first thing they teach in “journalism” school?

I’ll check that out, thanks.

It would be very tricky to get right but I’d watch

I’ll put Canticle on the list, thanks!
