He should mount some Solar City panels on it so it can play Space Oddity indefinitely.

All’s good until space pirates jack your ride
Yep, but, the more tread to move through that contact patch, the less heat and friction on the whole tire.
While that is true, the same tread on a 2" cir tire would be hitting the road 10x more than tread on a 20" cir tire meaning a 2" tire would heat up quicker
I agree with you there! I’ve self-studied tire dynamics in order to simulate them in videos games and there is still quite a bit of voodoo that goes into the algorithms to predict tire behavior.
For these speed runs, a tad slower acceleration shouldn’t matter.
I was just speaking to the radius of the tire. Keep the side walls the same/increase wheel size to go along with it.
I may be misunderstanding something.
Musk made the case for better economics on stage. Whether or not that pans out or, whether or not businesses buy the thing remains to be seen.
You are absolutely right. They whipped this thing up in three months once they realized they wouldn’t reach Model 3 production goals. Yep!
CPO warranty on the R8 runs out in July. Where’s the reservation link?
Based on the quoted story, it sounds like that’s what people were trying to do but we’re all sliding and crashing due to loss of traction from the coolant all over the corner. At that point it becomes a total shit show and the driver in the video does his best to limit the carnage.
Agreed. It’s like Bumblebee himself designed the Camaro after doing lines with Michael Bay till 6am.
Does the style have racist origins or did the style exist when racism was more overt? Should any piece of art that uses contemporary art styles acknowledge the current state of racism? If so, should art of any time period have to acknowledge racism, sexism, classism, ageism, and so on? Should an artist be able to…
The truck driver is clearly a robot. Amazing reaction time!
This one is still new: https://cargur.us/hpbFp
That right there is one ugliest things I’ve ever seen. Think differently doesn’t always have the best results.
By way of Vancouver, BC no doubt. If so, that would make this thing an unlikely survivor.
It’s like you wanted to make a post with some cool pics of the R30 but the Jalopo Boss said “No, we need something about an obscure performance engine from the 80s when the rest of the world was making cars powered by wet Wonder Bread.” So, you write this (very good) article just so you have an excuse to show those…
