I’ve never hated the bangle rear. It’s not cool but it’s not shit either. It’s just hmm. I will never understand why this has been such a pristine example of design gone wrong. It is unique, different, not sexy, but not horrible. Honda, Acura, Infiniti, an more have far more egregious design language issues. Whatevs

Is it clever though? If you park on a hill and try to get in there you will think that the door is broken. Seems like bad engineering to lock a door based on grade.

But, yeah it is like that.

By most accounts the R8 has better steering feel than the Huracan. You are entitled to your opinion.

LifeLock and similar companies are not effective.

I think saying the R8 doesn’t feel as good as a GT3 is the same as saying someone isn’t as wealthy as Bill Gates.

I like the blade but this still looks better:

As someone who has taken their stock R8 to track days, this makes total sense. AWD makes it easy to put down fast and stable laps. I mean, who the heck wants that?!

Exactly, that’s what I’m saying, it’s a POS but I still miss it. You nailed all the problems with it and that’s why I didn’t have it long.

How about the CVTs from that era? What pieces of garbage. Oh, and ignition coils! Man, too bad because I actually miss my A4 Cabrio

So I guess your point in all these comments you are posting on this story is that you are angry Tesla gave customers another choice that is a lower cost option? I don’t see how this is a bad thing.

The other option is for them to engineer and make assembly lines for both the 30 and 60 slot piece of equipment thus raising the cost for customers of both versions.

That analogy only works if the video game in question has two versions. One that costs $60 and has all the content. The other costs $45 and has some of the content removed that you can later buy if you choose.

Counterpoint: The market would collapse if women were introduced to these from a young age.

A feeder series isn’t going to speed those “years” up. It’ll do just the opposite. You don’t get better at racing by competiting against people that are your skill level.

If you think the problem in the story is road testing then your willful ignorance is just as much reason to avoid you and your shop.

Yep. Totally agree. When I drop a car at a dealership I should be okay with them jumping it, driving through mud puddles, going 100mph down dirt roads, etc. It’s all expected behavior and is completely legal. I would have ZERO legal recourse. Mmhmm, totally agree.

Ditto my comment to Justin

You do shitty things at your dealership too, huh? Let everyone here know which dealership that is so they can show their approval of your comment by either giving them your business or not.

I’ve never had this rule. I went to the Taco Bell drive-thru (and my bowels survived) last weekend in the R8. Food can be cleaned if anything should happen.
