Eating is the biggest part of it in my opinion. I didn’t start any sort of “real” exercise, beyond walking my dog, until I had already lost well over 100lbs. Those bad habits are the hardest to break, in my opinion. The exercise is just another chore I’ve tacked on to my day.

A side note, I had never heard Janelle Monnet’s music before her speech at the Grammy’s. Holy Moly, she is a boss. She has a sci-fi rockopera (really R&B) about robots and fascism that is amazing. Its discovery is the highlight of my week.

I’m on Synthroid for it. Beyond that I just do the healthy eating/exercise thing. It’s been a long slog, which has required a boatload of patience on my part to not get discouraged, but it has come off.
